
I have recently been develepoing a football club website for one of my clients. There’s a table league which holds a data like teams’ points and number of played matches. I decided to fetch data from the external webiste, instead of forcing my client to update the table manually.

Browsing TYPOlight community forums I have bumped into Ruud’s clean setup tutorial and decided to place it here. The tutorial is pasted as it is in its original state. All credits go to Ruud!
TL comes with the music academy sample installed which for most users is a nice way to get to see how certain things are done. however, most won’t want to start from there. Setting up a clean install everytime is a lot of work as well.

While developing the website for one of my clients, I faced two problems. First and most important, the contact form should have a dropdown menu with company sections. Depending on the choice, script should send an e-mail to a respective recipient.

If I remember well, there were already two attempts to create an e-commerce system for TYPOlight. The first of them was abandoned for some reasons. The second is still available and distributed by Fruitmedia company. The latest project, called Isotope, is so far the most promising one.
